Be like Mona
This is Mona.
She is my existential guru.
Mona spends most of her day in this position.
Her posture is an ode to peace, acceptance, well-being, and fulfillment.
The more I saw her, the more I recognized how far I was from allowing myself to assume that same posture and manifest those same virtues in my life.
So I dedicated myself to observing her closely to see what I could learn from her...
I discovered that Mona earns her right to live like this as a result of her life-attitude:
1. Mona loves
Mona chooses to love unconditionally. She doesn't rationalize it; she lives it. Instead of judging, criticizing, doubting, hurting, or punishing, she loves with all she has, all the time.
2. Mona lives in the present
Mona holds no grudges and finds forgiveness effortless. She knows neither yesterday nor tomorrow; she only exists today, and each day is the best day of her life because she decides it to be.
3. Mona has purpose
Mona knows her reason for being. She lives to keep us company. She has a life mission and serves it with all her being, without hesitation. She lives immersed in perpetual and absolute meaning.
If you want to experience the same peace, acceptance, well-being, and fulfillment in your life, be like Mona.
